Our story
Why Ethereal was founded
Every year thousands of patients from Africa travel to India for treatment that is either unavailable or unaffordable at home. Many arrive without knowing which hospital to trust, what the treatment should cost, or who will meet them at the airport.
Ethereal Healthcare was founded in Delhi NCR in 2025 to change that. We are a small, hands-on team led by someone who has spent her whole career inside hospitals, and we treat every patient as a guest in our own home.
Within our first year we have guided more than 50 patients from Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, Zanzibar and Ethiopia through treatment at Paras, Max and Apollo hospitals.

Ruchi brings 30 years of experience in healthcare operations, patient care and service management. Over three decades she has managed patient-centric hospital environments, led teams, improved processes and built strong relationships across the healthcare sector.
Her approach combines operational efficiency with empathy and a deep understanding of the patient journey, from the first enquiry to recovery at home.
